Van
essa Van Brunt has a unique background. After serving 10 years as the first female Police Officer in Cranford, NJ, she took an early retirement – making the unusual jump to Wall Street , where she held senior roles in banking and asset management with Wells Fargo and BlackRock. Her police career included a variety of assignments: patrol, detective work, undercover assignments, narcotics task forces, and first-responder duty during 9/11 supporting NYPD.
Similarly, her business experience encompasses a broad range of executive roles in middle market lending, alternative asset services, and liquidity management. Van Brunt is founder of “From The Street To The Street”, where she merges her worlds by taking real world law enforcement experiences/training and applying it to business situations. She conducts seminars and executive coaching sessions on topics including leadership, success strategies for women in male-dominated occupations, and negotiation tactics. She is currently writing a book titled “From The Street To The Street.”
