SmartStream Technologies has opened a new office in Jaipur, India, to take on the IT operations of a major tier one bank.

Its managed services offering will take on the bank’s IT platforms to deliver reconciliation, corporate actions and cash management.

The new office will be managed by Nick Smith, senior vice president of managed services for SmartStream, who will oversee the whole operations service, and provide additional support to its Mumbai and Bangalore operations.

“Since the opening there has been an incredible amount of interest from other financial institutions. Our goal is clearly to service our clients with the best technology and the fully trained staff who can provide the best quality service,” said Smith.

SmartStream has continued to expand its utility offerings, and has recently established a new reference data utility.
