Northern Trust reshuffles following Cherecwich appointment

Peter Cherecwich was appointed president of corporate and institutional services at Northern Trust in February alongside five additional appointments.

Northern Trust has revealed a change to senior roles in its corporate and institutional services division following Peter Cherecwich’s appointment as president earlier this year.

Toby Glaysher has been named head of global fund services international covering Northern Trust’s institutional business in the EMEA and APAC regions while Clive Bellows takes over as head of global fund services in EMEA.

Glaysher previously served as head of global fund services for Ireland, Luxembourg and the UK as well as head of global fund services for Europe.

Bellows, who previously spent time at both JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank, will retain his role as country head of Ireland.

Cherecwich was appointed as president of corporate and institutional services in February following roles as head of institutional product and strategy and president of global fund services.

Other new appointments include Penelope Biggs taking over as chief strategy officer for corporate and institutional services, while current head of Americas sales Jon Dunham has been named head of global sales for corporate and institutional services.

Biggs takes over her new role following spells as Northern Trust’s head of institutional investor group for EMEA and head of international distribution for asset servicing and asset management.

Dunham initially joined Northern Trust in March 2008 as head of North American asset servicing sales for institutional clients.

Lastly, Robert Frazer, previously head of UK pensions for the institutional business, has taken on the role of country head for the Middle East based in Abu Dhabi.

Frazer previously held positions at Thomas Murray and Standard Chartered.
