Northern Trust appoints relationship management head in the UK

Andrew Brown joins Northern Trust from Tesco Pensions Investments where he worked in a consulting role.

Northern Trust has appointed a new head of relationship management for its global fund services business in the UK.

Andrew Brown will be responsible for Northern Trust’s client service delivery management teams who lead the engagement and support of its asset management clients.

He started his career at Baring Brothers & Co and later joined International fund Managers UK which was acquired by Northern Trust in 2005.

Brown has also held various positions as asset management firms, although joins Northern Trust from Tesco Pensions Investments where he worked in a consulting role.

He will report into Laurence Everitt, head of the UK global fund services business, who described Brown’s 30 years industry experience as invaluable.

“Brown’s invaluable insight to the services that we provide to our UK clients will ensure we continue to be best placed to tailor solutions that support their unique requirements,” he added.
