Deutsche Bank has appointed Mahesh Kini as head of global transaction banking (GTB) for China.
In his new role, Kini will be responsible for the bank’s GTB businesses based in China including investor services, issuer services and institutional cash management.
Kini initially joined Deutsche Bank in 2007 as managing director and regional head for cash management corporates at Asia Pacific.
Since September 2016, he has been serving as managing director and head of global transaction banking and head of trade finance and cash management for China.
Prior to this he also had spells at HSBC and Bank of America.
In his new role, Kini will report to both Feng Gao, China chief country officer and Lisa Robins, Asia Pacific head of global transaction banking.
