SS&C appoints FinTech founder to oversee alternative assets technology

SS&C hires former co-founder and president of Novus, Rishi Khanna, as managing director for SS&C GlobeOp.

SS&C Technologies has hired Rishi Khanna as managing director for SS&C GlobeOp, in which he will oversee its alternatives assets technology business.

Khanna was most recently a co-founder and president of Novus, a portfolio intelligence platform for institutional asset allocators and investment managers. Prior to that, he was responsible for development of technology and product platofmrs at Lehman Group. 

In the new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the product organisations which deliver SS&C’s cloud-based alternative asset solutions including TNR Solution, Total Return, and AdvisorWare.

“Having recently served as co-founder of my own technology company, I am eager to bring the skills that I have gained, and the expertise I have developed, to continue SS&C’s progression as the largest provider of technology and fund administration services,” said Khanna.

Khanna will report to Ranhul Kanwar, executive vice president of SS&C Technologies and head of SS&C GlobeOp.

The hire follows SS&C’s recent acquisition of DST Systems for $5.4 billion, which included the takeover of its mutual fund administration business ALPS.
