Gen II Fund Services has continued its expansion with the opening of a new US office based in Boston and the addition of a new managing director.

The office joins New York and San Francisco as the third client service centre for the private equity fund administrator.

Gen II Fun Services said the move signals its commitment to “unparalleled client service, delivered by the most experienced team in the private equity fund administration industry”.

Norman Leben, managing principal at the firm, described the opening of the new office as a “significant milestone” for Gen II Fund Services.

“This expansion represents a vital part of our strategic plan to thoughtfully build out our servicing capabilities throughout key markets across the United States,” he said.

Buckley, formerly vice president of private equity fund services at State Street, has also joined Gen II Fund Services as managing director based in the new office.

Having first joined State Street in 2007, Buckley most recently managed a team of 48 accounting professionals for client relationships and developed operations for more than Fund of Fund entities.

Leben added the addition of Shaun and a growing team of highly qualified and experienced professionals in the three offices underscores its commitment to long-term investment in its people.
