This year, in addition to our survey awards, we have introduced a new format to the programme with three new sets of awards.
Specifically, we introduced our first annual Network Management Team Awards. The goal of these new awards is to identify, based on direct input from the industry, those institutions that are leading the way in the area of network management. Following a nominations process over 60 days, in which over 170 nominations were received from agent banks, network managers themselves and clients of global custodians and broker/dealers, Global Custodian identified 15 teams that were considered for these awards.
We also announced the winners of the Agent Bank Network Awards for excellence in 2014. Global Custodian has designed this new awards category to assess and quantify the strength of a bank or broker-dealer’s overall network of sub-custodians compared to their peers in the industry.
We also announced the winners of the agent bank awards for nine countries in Europe, plus three further awards during the dinner. Finally we inducted Kevin Molloy, Global Head of Network Management at State Street to our GC Legends Hall of Fame.
