3i Infotech, a provider of IT solutions, has appointed Ian Hallam as Chief Executive Officer, 3i Infotech Western Europe and bolstered its existing senior management team as the business seeks to develop its commercial footprint within continental Europe.
The appointment marks an important milestone in the evolution of the European business and underlines 3i Infotechs long-standing commitment to its loyal and well-established customer base and positions the company for further international growth.
Ian has worked within the UK operation for over 12 years, most recently as Director of rhymeSIGHT and brings a wealth of industry experience and understanding to the post. Reporting directly to Som Sarma, Head of Global IT Services, Ian is well placed to ensure that the needs of the individual customer and the vision of the wider global business remain focused on a single, unifying goal.

Following confirmation of Hallams appointment, a number of additional appointments have taken place to further bolster the western European board. Effective immediately, Piers Farbrother becomes Director of rhymeSIGHT, replacing Ian, while Bob Whigham becomes Director of the Broking Systems services portfolio.
