2003 Global Custodian Magazine Agent Banks In Emerging Markets Survey Results Published

The results of the annual Global Custodian magazine survey of the clients of agent banks in the emerging markets are now available on www.globalcustodian.com. This survey, now in its fifteenth year, is based on analysis of over 3,500 responses from the cross-border and domestic clearing and custody clients of banks in 60 markets.Banks are rated by their clients in 45 separate service areas, divided into eight service categories, and the scores are then weighted, averaged and compared to decide which are the leading providers in each market. The best enjoy "top-rated" status, while those on the rise or maintaining a high standard receive "commended" status. The leading providers in each of the 60 markets in 2003 were:
