Deutsche Bank’s Global Transaction Banking unit has appointed Patricia Giangrande as MD and global head of the business control office for institutional cash management (ICM).

Giangrande, who was formerly head of global financial crimes compliance at JP Morgan, will also sit on the Global ICM executive council.

“As an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, Patricia has a strong track record of integrating compliance into the fabric and culture of organisations, and we’re pleased to have her join our team,” said Susan Skerritt, chairwoman, president and CEO of Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas.

“ICM continues to be an area of investment for the firm to ensure our systems meet the highest standards, in turn making our business more safe and sound.”

Prior to joining JP Morgan Giangrande served as head of compliance for investor services at BNY Mellon and was also head of GTB compliance at Deutsche Bank from May 2002 to March 2005.
