Standard Chartered unites securities services teams

Standard Chartered has created a new business line within its transaction banking department bringing together multiple teams into one segment.

The new look will encompass the bank’s sales, product, client management and technology & operations teams for Securities Services.

The team will be headed up by Margaret Harwood-Jones who will be the new global head, securities services, transaction banking for Standard Chartered.

The bank said the decision followed client feedback and is the first step in delivering a better client experience.
